I can hardly stand it! Less than 4 days left....

It's what I've been waiting for....

TWILIGHT!

AHHHHHH!!

I swear, I could just talk about Twilight ALL DAY long!! It's great to have friends who are SO anticipating this movie along with me. At least, I know I'm not the only crazy one. I feel like I'm about 16 again.....waiting for this movie to come out!

And guess what? Summit Entertainment has purchased the rights on the other three books. AND..... Look for New Moon to be released in 2010!! Yep, you read it right!! I wish it was like ready NEXT week! (I know, I'm dreaming....).

Gotta go get me some vampire teeth. And, yes, I still need to get my T-shirt....Ahhhh! Can't wait!!

Just HAD to have this! I SO totally LOVE it! It's classy, and when I'm wearing it, you can't really tell what it says. Only a true twilighter can appreciate this. So, Kristy! Look what I got! Ha! Ha!!

An ODE to friends....

Wednesday, October 15, 2008

It is SO nice to have friends that are as crazy-obsessed as I am!! Welcome to the TWILIGHT ZONE, Kristy!! Between Kim, Yvonne, Kristy, and I, well....can I say, I LOVE the fact that this has become our obsession! Add to that, we all have the Twilight countdown on our blogs. We can't stop talking about the books and the upcoming movie release!! And, then, Kristy is texting me from her college class about Twilight! LOL!

Did I mention that I am working on a scrapbook page about this? I'll post it when I'm finished....Nothing is ever easy for me. First, I tried to print pictures, but before I did that, I had to manually configure my monitor so that what I printed would be kind of true to color to what I was seeing on the screen. NOPE! It did not work. NOW, my Twilight screensaver is all WHACKED out! Edward is now more flourescent white....a little freaky. So, I did manage to convince the DH that I NEEDED an actual monitor calibrator program to get this fixed, or I was going to DIE! (This should be coming on Friday! Yeah!) Not to mention the fact that my desk looks like someone just threw stuff on it, which is probably true, but it's just a mess!! I'll get to it eventually.

Took the munchkins to the pumpkin patch last night. NOT a good experience. "Syd, look at me!" The child looks everywhere else BUT AT ME! I swear, I have about 20 pictures where she is looking away. And, apparently, Bo "forgot" how to smile. Um, it's kind of freaky when your child is sticking out her whole bottom jaw and asking, "Is this pretty?" NO! We may have to try this again, but with Bo being sick, we may just miss pumpkin patch pictures. Ugh!

It would be so nice to actually find a pumpkin field with flowers, grass, and NO wooden pallets.....To live up North.......this is the time of year I envy them....well, and maybe during the summer......

Crazy Obsessed...

Monday, October 6, 2008

Yep, I guess that's what you'd call me. I'm SO into the Twilight series right now, and I have to admit, I have actually read Twilight twice. Yes, twice. I am actually reading New Moon again. (Um, thanks, Kim....look what you started!!)

At least I know I'm not the only "crazy" one out there! (Hey, Yvonne!!) So, in tribute to my madness, part of the cast and crew of Twilight appear in my new banner. No, I'm not finished with it yet....I told you it's an obsession. I guess I'll work on it later this week.

Not much going on here. Got together with my family on Saturday to celebrate my father and sister's birthday. Then, got together with the DH's family yesterday to celebrate his mother's birthday. It's always nice to get together.

And, now, I'm sick. Yucky feeling.... On top of that, I have to work tomorrow. But at least my house is clean. Not picked up, but clean. Just too bad I still have things to do.

But, on a nicer note, I'm getting together with my peeps on Friday for just some good ole "girl time". We're going to go to lunch to celebrate Kristy and Stephanie's birthdays (dare we ask "how old", ladies?) Then, off to scrapbooking we go. So, at least I'll get a break from the doldrums of this week. (did I mention I am so not looking forward to work?) Anyways, I have my page all planned.....da, da, da, da....I'm going to do a page about my Twilight obsession. What else? (I think I'll get around to doing a Harry Potter page, too. That way, someday, my girls can know what a nut their mother was!! Ha!)

My latest obsession....

Monday, September 29, 2008

You can see why you haven't heard from me....Thank you SO much, Kim, for mentioning these books! I was hooked from the beginning! Let's see, how to explain.

Thursday morning ~ I read one chapter before I went to work, but due to everyday-during-the-week life, I didn't pick the book up again. I had to be at work on Friday by 7 am, as we had a meeting. I didn't leave the office until 7 pm. I spent some time with the family, and then, from 9 to midnight, I worked some more from home.

My mind was keyed up, so by 12:30 am, I decided to pick up Twilight. Um, okay. Only problem with that idea was I didn't go to bed until after 5 in the morning. And, yes, I did finish Twilight.

I worked some more on Saturday. I finished around 3:30 pm, and, then, I dragged the girls to Target to pick up the other three books in the Twilight series. I got home around 4:30. I cut Syd's hair, and, then, I took the girls outside to play. Of course, I parked my rear on a lounge chair outside, and I began New Moon. By 11:30 pm, I finished New Moon. Did I mention that fact that I LOVED the books? I just couldn't get enough.

Sunday, well, I didn't do "anything" except read. I polished off Eclipse and began Breaking Dawn. Unfortunately, I didn't finish the last book before I went to bed.

I went to work today, and I have to admit (smile) that I couldn't wait to get home to finish the last 250 pages of my book. I was DYING to see how it would end. So, it's finished! And, no, I DO NOT skim read. In fact, I can probably tell you each story in detail. It's an uncanny thing I'm able to do....

Now, if Yvonne will get her bootie in gear and finish reading, then, we can chat. Oh, Kim! Thanks again! Got any other suggestions of what I need to read? Oh, I do have the Eragon Series. Just picked up the last book the other day. Yeah!! I think I'll wait for another weekend, though, as I didn't even clean anything this weekend :)

There would be one plus to being a vampire, though. I'd NEVER have to go to sleep! Could you imagine what I could get done?

I recently found this on a blog. It is too cute! You'll have to scroll down to my playlist and pause the music to watch this, but this is just too cute! It may have to be my favorite "commercial"!

Your Power Color Is Lime Green

At Your Highest:

You are adventurous, witty, and a visionary.

At Your Lowest:

You feel misunderstood, like you don't fit in.

In Love:

You have a tough exterior but can be very dedicated.

How You're Attractive:

Your self-awareness and confidence lights up a room.

Your Eternal Question:

"What else do I need in my life?"

OK, I love the color red. Who would have thought I would be green? But then, again, isn't green a complimenting color of red? Well, I like green too! Especially, the outdoor kind of green, like grass and flowers. And, it makes a nice color backdrop in pictures!!

The family and I went to the beach this weekend. No pictures...well, a few of the surroundings, but not of my girls. Or the hubby. Only of the niece, who was pigging out on Cheetos and feeding them to the ugliest pidgeon I have ever seen! And, we had cable to watch at the hotel! Bo kept saying, "Can you fast forward this? I don't want to watch this!" "Can you rewind that? I want to see it again!" I had to keep explaining that you couldn't do that on this TV (for those of you who don't know, we don't have cable at home).

Anyways, we did happen to catch a music video on Disney. One with Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers. Bo LOVED it! She asked me, "Mommy, can I have a stage like that for my birthday?"

M: "We'll see."

Bo: "And, I need a white jacket. And a blue shirt. And white pants. And boots. So I can sing on stage."

Um, what 3-year-old, almost 4, asks for this?

Then, to top it off, Syd came down with some GI bug last night/early morning. Basically, you can say that I cleaned up vomit from like bedding, the sink, etc. Nasty! I did approximately 5 loads of laundry between 1 am and 5 am. Didn't go to work today, but I did work from home. Anyways, I digress. I have to go to Walmart this morning for some bland foods for the girl, and I happened to pick up Camp Rock for the girls.

I brought it home (and currently, we have watched it 3 times so far). Anyways, Bo is lying on the couch, when I heard her sigh.

M: "What's the matter, Bo?"

Bo: "I just can't wait until I go to Camp Rock!"

Future diva? I think so!
