An ODE to friends....

It is SO nice to have friends that are as crazy-obsessed as I am!! Welcome to the TWILIGHT ZONE, Kristy!! Between Kim, Yvonne, Kristy, and I, well....can I say, I LOVE the fact that this has become our obsession! Add to that, we all have the Twilight countdown on our blogs. We can't stop talking about the books and the upcoming movie release!! And, then, Kristy is texting me from her college class about Twilight! LOL!

Did I mention that I am working on a scrapbook page about this? I'll post it when I'm finished....Nothing is ever easy for me. First, I tried to print pictures, but before I did that, I had to manually configure my monitor so that what I printed would be kind of true to color to what I was seeing on the screen. NOPE! It did not work. NOW, my Twilight screensaver is all WHACKED out! Edward is now more flourescent white....a little freaky. So, I did manage to convince the DH that I NEEDED an actual monitor calibrator program to get this fixed, or I was going to DIE! (This should be coming on Friday! Yeah!) Not to mention the fact that my desk looks like someone just threw stuff on it, which is probably true, but it's just a mess!! I'll get to it eventually.

Took the munchkins to the pumpkin patch last night. NOT a good experience. "Syd, look at me!" The child looks everywhere else BUT AT ME! I swear, I have about 20 pictures where she is looking away. And, apparently, Bo "forgot" how to smile. Um, it's kind of freaky when your child is sticking out her whole bottom jaw and asking, "Is this pretty?" NO! We may have to try this again, but with Bo being sick, we may just miss pumpkin patch pictures. Ugh!

It would be so nice to actually find a pumpkin field with flowers, grass, and NO wooden pallets.....To live up North.......this is the time of year I envy them....well, and maybe during the summer......

((UGH BLOGGER JUST KILLED MY NOVEL POST!!!))

i am so crazily obsessed. the girls at work were laughing at me for TWITCHING all day today just thinking about not having a book to read. they thought it was hysterical i fidgeted all stinking day! they swore i was going to cave and go get it at lunch. but i stood firm (although it was HARD!) last night i couldn't even eat i was so eager to read!

movie there! i watched the trailer 2 times last night and another 4 this morning. i even registered to win the baseball on the movie website!! i heard they are already contemplating sequels depending on how well the first does! i think i may have to see it in the theaters more than once just to boost the reviews!

ohhh.... and i hope you don't mind the texting... i can't help it. i sit there and the story just rolls around in my head and i feel like i'm going to burst if i don't text you!!!

i'm still dreaming about it too! edward cullen makes me swoon! i totally identify with bella (not that i have a passionate vampire lusting over me) but i just DO!

Hi Nita, I've been thinking on what you said about the "pumpkin patch" and I totally agree with you...so, you inspired me to try a new place this week. I don't know, it'd be a little bit of a drive for you, but perhaps you and Yvonne could make a little photo trip out of it. On my way to the Villages everyday, I pass what I now know is a nice little produce market. If you take 301, between Summerfield and Oxford, right at the Sumter/Marion Co. line, there is Brown's Produce. They have some hay bales and pumpkins on display and don't mind at all if you take photos. While pumpkins are only 3.75 at Wal-Mart, it does my conscience good paying $6.00 here for a pumpkin and know that I am helping a local farmer. If you did make the trip, just a little down the road at Lake Sumter Landing in the Villages are also some really nice places for photos.....course, catching the girls in a photographic mode is a challenge I can't help with :) I have posted one photo so far on my sight if you wanted to get an idea of how it looks. Best wishes! Melle
